NPD/Process Technologist, Job Reference: RP157
A manufacturer of chilled and frozen premium products supplying some of the UK's major retailers. Due to an increase in sales they are looking for an additional manager to join the Development or Technical Department.
The person must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience working within food manufacturing in a technical or development role. Responsibilities will include:
· Management of the whole NPD process from concept to launch
· Creating and costing recipes to hit a commercial target
· Experience of talking & presenting to retail customers
· Writing retail customer specifications
· Managing factory trials and creating factory paperwork
· Agreeing and creating realistic Factory product Standards
· Creating HACCP studies for new products
· Auditing internal systems & suppliers
• Writing and implementing technical proceduresThe successful NPD / Process Technologist may not have experience in all of these areas but we are looking for a person that has the right attributes to fit into our small management team.
