A growing and dynamic manufacturer of a wide range food products. Customers range from UK based Food Manufacturers and major multiples major buying groups . A progressive company that is enjoying sustained growth and has recently moved to a brand new manufacturing facility
To create, develop and launch high quality profitable product concepts that are aligned to the company category strategy, that delight the customer and appeal to the target consumer, following the agreed development framework process at all times.
Specifically:
- Interpret (internal/external) product briefs into marketable concepts appropriately targeted to end consumer needs.
- Work efficiently adhering to the agreed development framework, successfully passing stage gates on time and with all key tasks fully completed.
- Develop concepts that achieve required financial targets, requiring awareness of ingredients and packaging costs.
- Present to the customer in a professional manner, to "sell" concepts and gain feedback.
- Maintain awareness of key industry and consumer trends.
- Responsible for all aspects of the product development
You will be commercially minded and have experience of costings in addition to recipe formulation. This position will suit a development professional who is a blue sky thinker and is truly passionate about seeing creations to fruition.
£25-40000 dependant on experience
