The Role 3 Days per Week
Responsible for the maintenance of the product specification system through annual specification reviews, to include data / systems checking and physical audit of factory processes.
Identify, develop and maintain systems / procedures for Specification review.
Producing and ensuring the integrity of information for customer finished product specifications for site
To produce accurate technical data derived from Specification Reviews to the FIND Technologist for Specification updates and artwork generation (ingredient declarations, nutritional information, allergens, Nutritional Results, Haccp etc).
To review and update product specific HACCP for all live products which are manufactured on site on an annual basis.
To support the FIND Technologist with other related projects (Packaging, Artwork Checking, QUID Calculations) as business needs require.
To support the Business Standards team with Customer Complaints and Document Process Control system.
To support the FIND Technologist with training New Technologists on Creations.
The Person
Understanding of the fundamentals of food processing
Must have strong interpersonal skills, able to drive changes, and identify improvements
Logical and systematic approach to problem solving and good attention to detail.
Reliable, honest person who works well under pressure.
Effective project management skills.
Team Player Experience with customers, such as Tesco, M&S, Sainsburys
