The Role
Project manage NPD / EPD & Value Engineering projects from Concept Approval to Launch
?Liaising with key customer and factory personnel to ensure the timely delivery of new products and processes
?Running factory validation / verification trials for both Technical & Operational approval
?Understanding processing parameters & quality attributes of raw materials being used
Previous Customer Facing experience with major retailer (M&S, Tesco or JS)
Previous chilled manufacturing experience
Sound chilled product development experience
Creative and imaginative development skills with an excellent commercial understanding.
Internal Finished Product Specifications to support Customer Specification Requirements
?Participate in milestone, project planning & pre-development feasibility studies
?Participate in HACCP / Process Control team meetings.
?Ensure integrity of product packaging - artwork, ingredient lists etc
Undertake weekend duty technical rota shifts as
The Person
Degree/HND qualified in Food Science / Technology
Strong project management skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to drive through projects from handover to completion
Understanding of the fundamentals of food processing
Sound knowledge of HACCP.
Innovative with a logical and systematic approach to problem solving
