The Role
Day to day responsible for updating and maintaining technical information including specifications, labelling, customer information systems. The individual must be confident on the telephone as communication with dieticians, sales consultants, customers and operations teams is an essential part of day to day working.
The Person
The individual should have a food technology degree or equivalent or at least 3 years experience in a food technology role.
• A strong knowledge of food labelling legislation, allergen and specialist dietary requirements.is necessary.
• Essential to success in this role are good communication and interpersonal skills as well as being self motivated and have good organisational skills.
• It would be an advantage to have experience of the following systems:
Windows software - mainly Excel, Word and Access
Hamilton Grant Specifications system
Dietplan 6 nutritional analysis
Formul8 MRP system
The Background
Graduate with 6 months experience / technical assistant / technical co-ordinator / jnr technologist / jnr process technologist / QA
