Warehouse Manager – 884044
Oversee and manage all operations within the warehouse department. including raw material ordering, on and off-site storage and waste management also overseeing all stock takes weekly and monthly.
·To contribute towards maintaining site health and safety standards. There is no higher priority than safety on site.
·Carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
·To take full responsibility for the quality of the products within the designated area through management and compliance using quality systems and procedures.
·Ensure the condition and hygiene of the warehouse is to the highest food manufacturing standard.
·To take full responsibility for achievement of the production plan. Ensuring materials on are on site prior to production run times.
·To maximize performance via measurement, monitoring and analysis of factory information including material loss, output, utilization, labor efficiency, quality, hygiene, energy and waste.
·To be responsible for all people management activities including absence management, disciplines and grievances.
·To determine and ensure the achievement of the skills & training requirements of the team, to fulfil current and future business needs.
·To lead, coach and & motivate a team to achieve individual & departmental development.
·To work collaboratively with other managers in undertaking these responsibilities to ensure that site runs to the highest standard
·To develop problem solving & trouble shooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes & take fast & effective responses to problems.
·Ensure that controllable costs are managed specifically labor and material loss.
·Prevent the cost of same day deliveries by have adequate stock on site.
·Graduate and or with significant experience of FMCG manufacturing.
·Skilled in people management
·Numerate with a clear understanding of cost drivers
·Knowledge of and experience of GMP
·Knowledge of legislation governing Food Compliance, Health and Safety and Employment Law
·Previous experience using Sage via the MRP and ERP system, to help control the inventory of stock
