Stock Controller – 884064 – Up to £25000

The Role:

To coordinate all POS activities and ensure all stock movements are monitored

 

Job Duties:

·         Facilitate all POS orders

·         Coordinates delivery in a timely manner to meet or exceed customer expectations

·         Produce timeliness of all POS to meet requirements

·         Monitor all outstanding orders

·         Ensure correct treatment for each order, so FMX stock and all cost are correct

·         Work closely with Operations Manager & COO for annual tender

·         Progress chase deliveries to successful destination throughout the day with 3PL providers Manage 3PL providers to ensure performance to the highest of standards

·         Monitor and record OTIF for the company in total and by individual 3PL provider

·         With the Warehouse Manager, review & improve 3PL performance with individual provider

·         Review root cause issues and ensure corrective actions are in place for any deviancy with each 3PL provider

·         Work very closely with internal sales team & BDM to liaise and provide timely updates on shipments

·         Work closely with the Purchasing & shipping Manager to understand incoming containers/shipments and requirements on quick turn-around of stock to meet customer demand

·         Answering customers queries on the status of their orders

·         Proactively liaising directly with customers where required

·         Supporting the logistics team with ad-hoc projects, as necessary

·         Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly KPI reports

·         Maintaining, review and improving SOPs

·         Takes steps to avoid quality control issues

·         Plan scheduling as far ahead as possible to eliminate bottlenecks

·         Always look to iterate and improve systems, processes, SOPs & daily rituals.

·         Calculate capacity plan, formulate production plans and brief

·         Stock control

·         Cycle count daily

·         Measure stock counting accuracy

·         Become stock champion with Warehouse Manager representing the warehouse

·         Liaise with the team for stock resolutions

·         Make notes of damaged inventory and monitor

·         Assume control and responsibility for returns and tickets

·         Prepare goods in packing lists and labels

·         Arrange all Key Retailer orders

 

Cover for Warehouse & Transport Manager when required.

 

 

 

The Person:

 

  • You will have a demonstrable track record in a similar role
  • Possess proven relevant skills and have a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent excel skills to intermediate level are essential
  • Excellent organisational/prioritisation skills are a pre requisite as is a focused approach to customer service (both externally and internally)
