The Sales & Marketing Assistant role will encompass a broad spectrum of sales & marketing activities.  You will be able to make your own mark on this role, enjoy the freedom to be creative with your solutions and be vital in impacting the overall sales & marketing strategy. The role requires someone to work with internal teams as well as a vast distributor network ensuring sales & marketing activities are relevant and will ultimately generate revenue for the business.


The Role:


Marketing support:

  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
  • Managing the design, artwork and production of marketing materials, some of which include leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters, price lists, spec sheets, packaging, brochures and videos;
  • Take a lead in the execution phase of projects such as the sample journey
  • Catalogue project:  implement agreed plan, liaise with designers/artworkers, photographers, coordinate feedback and communicate with relevant stakeholders
  • Criting and proofreading copy;
  • Liaising with designers and printers;
  • Facilitate the organisation of photo shoots including case studies;
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases;
  • Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
  • Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups;
  • Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns;
  • Monitoring competitor activity;
  • Source, distribute, and manage branded promotional materials
  • Manage and maintain full bank of imagery
  • Actively contribute to and support the “They Ask You Answer” strategy
  • Proactively supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues

Sales support:

  • Populate necessary data files and PIM files for customers, liaising with customers directly to implement
  • Support and maintain sales team reporting & dashboards – Salesforce, Partners on Target, FMX etc
  • Adhoc customer requests
  • Coordinate customer visits to HQ including catering, hotels, accommodation and travel arrangements for customers

Salesforce & Pardot qualifications or experience

Some marketing qualifications or experience preferable

Strong copy-writing and proof reading skills. Must be very familiar with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
