The Company

The business is currently undergoing a substantial review which is adding improvements to capital equipment, facilities and has staff investment.  They are all about attracting top talent to their team This role acts as a conduit from our customer to the business. Taking a product brief, translating it into meaningful actions to be carried out by the technical and manufacturing teams, and then managing the project from inception through to market.

 Overview:

• Collaborate with the customer to create a clear and comprehensive product brief, ready for submission to the business teams
• Liaise with the technical, sales and production departments to create a project plan, ready for sign off
• Oversee the project plan, ensuring delivery milestones are hit, customer requirements are met and commercial aims are adhered to
• Act as the central point of contact for customer accounts, connect with production and technical in order to leverage current client opportunities, and develop new
• Hold regular reviews with customers, following a set agenda in order to maximise feedback, address issues and celebrate successes

 The Person:

• Demonstrated experience in technical project management in a food manufacturing environment
• Have previous experience translating customer information into technical speak, taking a customer idea from brief through to supply to market
• Demonstrated ability to be persuasive, influence and be a strong negotiator both internally and externally to the business
• Adaptable, proactive and with a flexible approach to evolving customer and business needs
• Achieved a qualification in Food Science or other related discipline (e.g. Degree, HND) or have gained significant practical, hands on experience in this field
• Hold a full clean UK Driving Licence
• A focus on safeguarding the quality, legality and safety of the product
