Interim Purchasing Manager – 884390

To provide interim support until the Company recruit the permanent position

The Role:

 

  • Responsible for the day to day purchasing function
  • Monitoring packaging stocks and placing orders with suppliers
  • Ordering of subsidiary items
  • Submitting various items for tenders
  • Forward contracting on raw materials
  • Updating stock levels and usages
  • Liaising between customers and suppliers for product launches

The Person:

 

  • Demonstrable track record of purchasing a variety of complex products
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Experienced in working with large volumes
  • Excels in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi task effectively
  • Keen organisational and communication skills
  • Food manufacturing experience is essential
