  • Purpose
    • To profitably increase the distribution and sales of products
  • Objectives
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and proactively providing support, information and guidance
    • Develop and grow sales of current and new products into existing and new customers by producing compelling category and commercial arguments based a deep understanding of industry trends, markets and competitor activities
  • Key Tasks
    • Maintain regular and consistent contact with all customers, ensuring all communication is clear and timely
    • Prepare and present sales reports and realistic sales forecasts to the business
    • Build and promote service excellence by establishing and enforcing customer and company standards
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies
    • Contribute to the team effort by working with colleagues to deliver specified business objectives




  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years in manufactured food product sales
    • Worked with UK major multiple & discount retailers and B2B customers in PL impulse or chilled grocery
  • Skills
    • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Email, Retailer Data Platforms)
    • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Effective oral and written communications
    • Able to research, analyse and interpret data
    • Able to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with customer and company processes and values
  • Other
    • Office based, but must be willing and able to travel to UK customers and trade events
    • Clean driving license
    • Occasional European travel to and trade shows
