Business Development Manager – 884272

The role of business development manager will work alongside the sales manager as an integral part of the commercial team. You will work with the clear objective of growing sales and influencing both customer relationships and activity. Developing and deploying both product and commercial concepts together with relevant market data and persuasive arguments will also be key to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present customer and product concepts working closely with R&D as part of the sales team
  • Develop and grow customer relationship and therein sales through the preparation, presentation and persuasion of commercial concepts; backed up with consumer, market, customer and competitor data
  • Within allocated budget, prepare and deliver marketing and promotional plans with service business and growth objectives
  • Highlight, identify and promote category insight and trends to colleagues and customers
  • Review, prepare and action account planning and “war-gaming” together with sales
  • Utilising entrepreneurial energy and taking responsibility for commercial actions
