The Role
Motivating and co-ordinating the team to ensure targets are reached, you will be responsible for
•Identifying areas of improvement to increase performance & capability
•Monitoring and controlling KPIs
•Controlling the cover of the team ensuring optimum cleaning capacity in the factory
•Coaching and training of all new operators within the team ensuring they meet the required quality and technical standards and aim to create a multi-skilled workforce in partnership with all departments
•Health and Safety practices in each area ensuring that all Health and Safety standards are met proactively and championed with the main aim of eliminating the likelihood of accidents through a variety of H&S tools e.g. risk assessment, safe systems of work, strong
•Housekeeping standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) – maintaining standards through regular auditing
•Liaising with production team managers in agreeing handover standards and procedures both to and from production.
•Consciously improve the level of communication through regular team briefings.
