NPD Manager - Development Chef, Job Reference: 881451
The Role
Manage key new product development projects
· Take responsibility for the NPD Gate process.
· Manage department to comply with BRC standard
· Work with the customer to ensure that there is a clear written development brief for all new projects.
· Develop products which meet the agreed development brief.
· Provide predicted and analytical data to demonstrate nutritional compliance with the agreed brief.
· Ensure that products are shelf stable, in terms of both microbiological and physical stability.
· Organise and lead process development trials for products being developed
· Recommend process improvements to production, based on efficiency savings, flexibility, new product requirements.
· Present samples and technical data to customers in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Provide provisional costing data on the products developed, and to alert the business to any commercial and/or legal risks in the choice of ingredients.The Person
· Practical experience using Ramesys or equivalent and Nutricalc.
· Min 5 years experience of working within a NPD FMCG .
