The Role
    To ensure that products are being manufactured to the correct specification and quality standards required at all times
    To ensure that records of manufacture are kept, audited, collated ,archived and form a sound due diligence defence if required
    To ensure that products are being manufactured in accordance with the company technical procedures
    To coordinate and have available at all times the relevant product quality standards at all stages of manufacture
    To manage the on line Technical training of all manufacturing staff as agreed with Operations management in order to manufacture product to the agreed specification  and be compliant to the company technical procedures
    To drive an active KPI improvement plan for RTM’s, Complaints and GMP standards, and review monthly with the Technical Manager & Technical Director to demonstrate progress and actions
    To ensure that the environment that products are being produced in, is compliant to the company technical procedures, in particular the reduction of potential Foreign Body contamination & the maintenance of a clean and tidy work area.
    To manage effectively the QA team and be responsible for their objectives, appraisal, training and general progress within the dept.
    To manage effectively the investigation of Complaints, Serious Foreign Body complaints & RTM’s  
    To manage effectively the Taste Panel process  and demonstrate an active improvement plan is in place
    To ensure that the QA team is actively supporting the NPD programme and is proactively preparing paperwork, quality standards, and training for imminent launches.
    To develop communication with the customer primarily on matters of Quality, Complaints & Taste panels and closure of outstanding actions
