The main purpose of the role is to provide leadership and perform as an effective facilitator to influence development within Health & Safety. A challenging role and will involve coaching and mentoring line managers and supervisors in all areas of H&S. Complete responsibility for planning the Health & Safety strategy, incident management, conducting monthly team meeting, training as well as the day to day administration conducting reports, audits and updating records.
The Person
You will be NEBOSH Qualified and a member of IOSH. You will offer a proven track record of working at a similar level where you have utilised very strong and confident communication skills in order to raise health and safety standards.
A keen influencer who can achieve results in a diplomatic manner, obtain the ‘buyin' from member of staff who resist change and an individual who relishes a challenge.
Whilst not essential a background in food manufacturing, processing or associated would be an advantage
