·The Role
·Responsible for recruitment and selection
·Preparation of all paperwork relating to starters/leavers/payroll changes
·The issue and receipt of probation forms/assessments, chasing those that are outstanding, request and monitor of references, Preparation, issue and control of employee contracts
·Control of absence levels in conjunction with HR Officer, including the recording of absence calls, production of weekly and monthly absence reports, analysis of absence records and administering absence review meetings when required.
·Control and monitor of return to work forms.
·Responsible for identifying and issuing disciplinary warnings under the Lateness and Absence Procedure up to the level of Written Warning.
·Arrange medical appointments when necessary with the OHA Nurse or Doctor in conjunction with HR Officer
·Preparation and issue of departmental purchase orders
·Conduct maternity talks and issue relevant paperwork in conjunction with HR Officer B
·Maintain and upkeep HR Records.
·Assist in planning employee welfare events
·Represent Company at careers/jobs fayres when required
·Prepare and distribute employee communication via notice boards/depot memos
·Stationery order & General filing
The Person
·Previous experience of the following:
·Absence control (including conducting absence meetings)
·Interviewing and Selection
·Excellent administration skills
·High level of computer literacy
·High level of interpersonal skills
