The Role
The main purpose of the role is to support the HR Manager in the delivery the day to day HR needs of the business to maximise the contribution of people to business objectives ensuring legal compliance and best practice at all times
•Deliver effective HR support on a day to day basis to support the site business objectives
•Maintain HR systems
•Administer all paperwork relevant to new starters
•To provide advice and guidance in respect of effective employee relations including the management of disciplinaries and grievances
•Promote stable relations between employees and the business in order to encourage commitment and motivation
·Recruitment activity in respect of ensuring the process of relevant documentation throughout the process.
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant experience as a generalist ideally gained in a fast paced environment
Working knowledge of employment law
Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing
CIPD qualified or working towards this would be advantageous though not essential
IT literate
Able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
This role is offered on a part time basis of 20 -25 hours per week.
