The Role
A diverse role that will offer a renewed challenge for a packaging professional who wishes to work in a high volume output site.
Specifically:
Sourcing new material
implementing SLA's and negotiating with suppliers
Autonomously selecting appropriate suppliers
Brief them on future new products (NPD)
Manage the purchasing process through to finish.
You will work closely with the ingredients buyer, artwork coordinators and the purchasing manager will be critical to delivering on set project objectives.
The Person
Ideally you will have experience of purchasing/procurement/buying from with the food manufacturing industry with packaging experience a distinct advantage. You will be a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills and you'll have an ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
