The Role
Primarily the objective of this role is to have complete responsibility for the despatch function including staffing, processes and quality.
Specifically:
• Responsible for a finite team
• Overseeing the order picking
• Ensuring dispatch meets daily targets and delivers are out on time
• Assisting in the production area when required
• Assisting in the packing area when required
• Liaising with third party transportation companies
The Person
This role will suit someone who is truly flexible and can move from one task to another with ease. Ideally the successful individual will have worked in a chilled or frozen environment previously.
