The Role

<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Agree annual objectives and review quarterly with Director and cascade to direct reports
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Ensure all resources within the Operations area are used efficiently and effectively and meet requirements for the future.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Ensure customer visits and audits are successful and deliver customer expectations
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Create, implement and monitor capital and revenue budgets.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Monitor, control and reduce all wastage.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Proactively search for ways and means to improve operations performance
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->In conjunction with the Technical Department, ensure that company hygiene, food safety and quality standards are applied at all times.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->In liaison with the NPD Department, ensure that appropriate facilities are available to cost-effectively meet the requirements of development from inception to launch.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->In Liaison with the H R Department, ensure that recruitment, training, employee relations and occupational health are handled in a professional manner.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->In Liaison with the Engineering Department, ensure that efficiency of all plant is maximised.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->In Liaison with the Supply Chain Department, ensure that effectiveness and utilisation of plant and labour is scheduled and maximised as well as exceeding targeted service level.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Ensure staff discipline is maintained. Carry out disciplinary action up to dismissal and involvement in appeals process
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Ensure that the H&S Policy is applied to all areas and accidents are in line with company targets.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Train, Coach & develop staff at all levels and identify successors.
