Technical Manager, Job Reference: 881492
A large producer of meats in the UK is looking to recruit a Technical Manager to enhance their senior management team.
You will have responsibility for all technical issues on site:
• Ensuring the integrity of all technical practices and that products are produced in line with both company and legislative guidelines.
• Management of all aspects of quality and hygiene – through the relevant departmental managers
• Developing and enhancing company policies
• Enhancing customer relations with the site technical department, encouraging strong customer relationships
• Design and implement process and control, GMP and quality programmes
• Provide appropriate leadership to develop the technical capabilities of the site.
Ideally you should be:
• A graduate in food science
• Have a minimum of 5years experience working in a Technical Management role in the food industry
• Experience of working with major UK retailers at Senior level
• Have excellent influencing, presentation and communication skills
• Possess strong man management skills
Experience within the meat industry
