Our client is looking to recruit a commercially minded Operations professional to join their steadily expanding business and take responsibility for overall operational activity on site.
Key responsibility will include:
* The development of large cross functional teams across the business
* Oversee all aspects of man management and planning activity
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives
* Budgetary control
* Set and monitor KPIs across departments
* Play a leading role in the acquisition of new equipment
* Manage and facilitate company interaction with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
* A background in food manufacturing is essential
* The ability to demonstrate a broad commercial and operational expertise
* A key driver of change with excellent man management skills you will have an in depth knowledge of lean and modern manufacturing techniques and practices.
* Ideally the successful candidate will have a technical background gained from the food industry
