The Company
Our client is looking to recruit a commercially minded production professional to join their steadily expanding business and take responsibility for overall production activity on site.
The Role
Key responsibility will include:
• The development of large cross functional teams across the business
• Oversee all aspects of man management and planning activity
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Budgetary control
• Set and monitor KPIs across product lines
• Play a leading role in the acquisition of new equipment
• Manage and facilitate company interaction with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
• 3 managers as direct reports
The Person
• A background in food manufacturing is essential
• The ability to demonstrate a broad commercial expertise
• A key driver of change with excellent man management skills you will have an in depth knowledge of lean and modern manufacturing techniques and practices.
• A thinker and planner who is used to working in a pressurised environment
