Do you head hunt?
No, the reason for this is twofold. We value the relationships we have and would no more try to entice away a member of your staff than we would anyone else's and as every candidate we represent has approached us, you can be assured they are actively interested in your vacancy.
Do you feedback to candidates post interview?
Yes, we like to provide candidates with as full feedback as possible in relation to their suitability, performance etc and are unable to do this without your input. The rule of thumb is the more prompt and comprehensive the feedback, the better the perception of the company
What is the benefit in you making a site visit?
It is invaluable in terms of understanding environment, team fit and also builds that all important relationship - there is much more to a successful candidate introduction than just a skills match
Do you ever deviate from your standard terms of business?
We will discuss and extend preferential terms to clients who are able to demonstrate that they will have a certain level of business upon which they will instruct us during any given year.
I have lost out on suitable candidates during the recruitment process on a number of occasions, how do I prevent this happening?
Demand is outweighing supply, the secret at the moment is to react to suitable cvs quickly and to keep the lead times to a minimum throughout the process. Some candidates have a choice of offers within days of entering the market. A streamlined process manages expectations and demonstrates the professionalism of the organisation. Remember, whether successful or not, the applicant will talk freely about their experience with your company.
I have advertised a vacancy more than once and am disappointed with the response, why haven't I attracted anyone?
Many individuals we represent rely on us to notify them of suitable roles as they become available and will not take the time to trawl through local, national and trade press to find suitable vacancies.
I receive sales calls daily, is this something you do?
We do not believe in making calls for the sake of it and will take your lead on whether you feel it is beneficial to hear from us. If you want to be notified about something specific we will do this in whatever format suits you ( by email / telephone / post)
How do you handle a confidential vacancy?
Confidential vacancies will be dealt with exactly as such. Your company identity will be protected as far throughout the process as you require and we are happy to provide facilities for off site interviews
